Santo Domingo.– Con gritos de “¡Queremos justicia!”, llantos desconsolados y pancartas en las manos, un grupo de mujeres pertenecientes al sindicato Madres de Fe en Busca de Justicia se congregó la mañana de este viernes frente a la Procuraduría General de la República para exigir respuestas por la muerte violenta de sus hijos y solicitar que la Procuradora General, Yeni Berenice les otorgue una reunión.
Las madres denunciaron impunidad, amenazas, protección política a agresores y procesos judiciales estancados. Algunas llevan años buscando justicia sin obtener respuestas de las autoridades.
“Mi hija fue mandada a matar desde España. El sicario fue pagado por Robertico y Heriberto Aquino Perdomo. Ya la Fiscalía de Gaspre tiene pruebas, pero no hacen nada. Me mandan mensajes anónimos para que me calle. Pero yo no me voy a callar. ¿Cómo le explico a mi nieto de 6 años que a su mamá la mataron?”, denunció una madre entre lágrimas.
Otro testimonio fue el de Yajaira Martínez, cuyo hijo fue asesinado en “La 42” del Capotillo, en mayo pasado, el Día de las Madres.
“Dos de los atracadores están presos en La Victoria, pero al que disparó lo han desvinculado dos veces. Sé que está apañado por un diputado. Tengo los nombres y los voy a decir más adelante. Mi hijo no era un delincuente fichado. Cometió el error de ir a ese lugar, y lo mataron. Yo solo pido justicia”.
Estas mujeres forman parte de una organización que agrupa a más de 15 madres en situaciones similares. Aunque sus casos no están relacionados entre sí, las une el mismo dolor y el reclamo de justicia para sus hijos.
“Nos hemos unido porque solas nadie nos escucha, pero ni juntas hemos logrado ser oídas. Esta es la décima vez que venimos a la Procuraduría, y siempre nos ignoran. Muchas madres no se atreven a salir por miedo, pero nosotras sí, porque no tenemos nada que perder”, afirmó una de las manifestantes.
También se presentó el caso de Ricardo Alfredo Quesada, asesinado hace siete años por un amigo durante una discusión en una discoteca. El responsable huyó del país y fue capturado recientemente en España con identidad falsa.
“Después de siete años lo encontraron, pero solo le dictaron tres meses de prisión preventiva. Yo exijo 30 o 40 años. Me tomó siete años llegar hasta aquí, y no me voy a rendir”, dijo su madre.
Las manifestantes aseguraron que han intentado comunicarse directamente con el director general de Persecución, Wilson Camacho, pero que este ha dejado sus mensajes en visto.
“Nos prometió revisar los casos, pero nunca más nos respondió. Lo tenemos en WhatsApp, y nada. Solo pedimos lo justo”, concluyó una de las voceras.
El grupo pidió una reunión con la procuradora general, Yeni Berenice, y advirtió que seguirán movilizándose hasta que sean escuchadas.
